The popular Steam game Lethal Company has received a new update

But it's not the major update players may have been expecting. While the previous update introduced a new creature and additional features, the latest update focuses primarily on bug fixes and smaller improvements.

The reason for the smaller update is that the game's creator, Zeekerss, is shifting his attention to a new project called Welcome To The Dark Place. Zeekerss explained that he felt burnt out on Lethal Company and wanted to take a break to work on something new. However, he assured players that Lethal Company is not being abandoned and can be easily picked up again in the future.

The Lethal Company Version 64 update includes the following changes:

  • Tactical Belt Bag: Players can now purchase a tactical belt bag from the terminal, which can hold 15 non-scrap items.
  • New Weather Event: A rare 0.6% chance weather event can now occur on any day at a random time.
  • Bug Fixes: Several bugs have been fixed in this update.

While Lethal Company may not be receiving major updates for the time being, players can still enjoy the game and look forward to future content. Zeekerss has indicated that he may return to Lethal Company in the future, especially if Welcome To The Dark Place is released by October or Halloween.
