Lies of P Reaches 3 Million Sales Worldwide
Lies of P, the stylish and dark Soulslike from NEOWIZ and Round8 Studios, has now surpassed 3 million copies sold worldwide! Lies of P has grown and grown since its launch in September 2023 and is undoubtedly a massive success for the development team.
A strong launch that continued to grow
Lies of P had an impressive launch, reaching 1 million sales within the first month. That milestone has now tripled in less than two years! The recent release of the DLC, "The Overture," undoubtedly helped with these sales.
These are real sales, not just Game Pass players
The 3 million sales count does only include full purchases, although Lies of P was available on Xbox Game Pass day one. However, thanks to Game Pass and other platforms, the total player count has well surpassed 7 million worldwide.
A Worldwide Audience
The game found its audience well beyond South Korea, as over 90% of overall distribution were players from North America, Europe, and Japan. Its hybrid setting, highly developed combat system, and engaging story helped it translate into appeal in different countries.
The dev team received unique rewards.
In recognition of their achievement, NEOWIZ provided the Round8 Studio development team with some wonderful rewards:

- Two weeks of extra paid vacation time
