Lies of P Director Reveals New DLC Details and Teases Sequel

The highly anticipated DLC for Lies of P is expected to launch in 2024. In a recent update, the game's director, Jiwon Choi, shared new insights about the upcoming expansion and hinted at progress on the sequel. Since Lies of P was released last year, developer Round8 has kept a low profile regarding both projects, but Choi broke the silence with a message on social media.

While specific release dates weren't provided, Choi assured fans that the team at Round8 is working hard on both the DLC and sequel. To keep excitement building, he also shared a sneak peek at the DLC, featuring a new snowy environment.

"As we work through Korea’s hottest summer, your unwavering support keeps us going as we expand the world of Lies of P," Choi said.

He emphasized their focus on refining the game's strengths and improving areas that need growth, acknowledging that sticking to the fundamentals is no easy task. Choi thanked the community for their continued support, expressing his appreciation for fans’ patience.

Although no official release date for the DLC has been confirmed, financial reports from Neowiz suggest a release in the second half of 2024. Meanwhile, job listings indicate that the sequel, unofficially referred to as Lies of P 2, may introduce more open-world elements than its predecessor. Fans should expect further announcements soon.
