A revamped Predator: Hunting Grounds
Has just received its first update after launching on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S platforms. Initially available on PS4 and PC, this action-packed game now invites a fresh wave of players following developer IllFonic’s acquisition of the game's rights. With this relaunch, a comprehensive patch has been introduced, tweaking various aspects of gameplay, including improvements for both the Predator and the Fireteam.
Among the highlights of this update are new haptic feedback and adaptive trigger features for PS5 users, enhancing the game's immersion. Additionally, the game now supports cross-play, allowing users on different platforms to enjoy the experience together.
A new Predator variant, the Feral Predator, has also been introduced. Players can explore this new addition alongside various patch updates that improve the overall match experience. These include improved HUD readability, adjustments to weapon mechanics, and enhanced animations for both the Fireteam and Predator.
For Fireteam members, changes were made to improve clarity for mission objectives, animations, and sound effects. Weapon rebalancing also took place, with pistols and shotguns seeing reduced ammo capacity, while certain weapons like the 7EN and SAWZ-50 received increased recoil for added challenge.
Predator-specific tweaks include adjustments to the Plasma Caster's accuracy when the biomask is lost and improvements to weapon pickups. The Norse Hammer, in particular, has been nerfed with decreased damage, while sound effects and animations have also been polished for a smoother gameplay experience.
This update brings a fresh take on Predator: Hunting Grounds, making the game more accessible and engaging for both new and returning players.
