Epic Games is giving away 2 more free games at once - This week
starting July 11th, players can get Floppy Knight for free from the Epic Games Store. But the excitement doesn’t stop there. Next week, from July 18th, Epic Games will offer not one but two free games. One game brings back the 90s nostalgia, and the other is a first-person horror experience.
The first free game for next week is Arcade Paradise. It's perfect for those who love the 90s and spent time in arcades. In Arcade Paradise, you turn a rundown laundromat into a vibrant arcade filled with over 35 different games. You play as Ashley, who decides to transform the family laundromat into the ultimate arcade instead of running a regular laundromat.
"Welcome to Arcade Paradise, the 90's-fueled retro arcade adventure,"
says the game's overview. In this game, you can also play the arcade games you set up and even compete with others if they get Arcade Paradise too.
The second free game is Maid of Sker, a first-person horror game that focuses on survival and evasion rather than combat. Based on a Welsh folktale, Maid of Sker uses sound-based gameplay to create a tense atmosphere. You must use stealth and a defensive sound device to survive against enemies in a remote hotel with a dark history.
"Maid of Sker is a first-person survival horror, set in a remote hotel with a gory and macabre history from British folklore," says the game’s overview. "Armed with only a defensive sound device, you'll utilize stealth tactics to avoid death among a cult of sound-based AI enemies."
Both Arcade Paradise and Maid of Sker
